"less expensive BUT NOT SO CHEAP ITS SCARY"
Baltimore Harbor Hotel
If you're the type that like to hunt for bargains (and we suspect there may be one or two on our guest list), we suggest the Baltimore Harbor Hotel as the first place to look. We've never actually stayed here, but we've been by a number of times and have completed some interwebs research. This is a former Sheraton and about 6 blocks from the church and 3 blocks from the venue, which means a 10 to 15 minute walk, or a one minute cab ride. $115 a night and TripAdvisor ranks it 35 out of 59 hotels in Baltimore. Read the reviews, live it up and tell us how it goes. Make your reservations directly on the hotel webpage by clicking here.
"feeling fancy, but not FOUR SEASONS fancy"
The Hotel Monaco
The Hotel Monaco is our absolute favorite hotel in Baltimore and where we like to stay on special occasions. We highly recommended this option if you want an upgrade that is not insanely expensive and still want to stay close to the big show. The Monaco is located about 6 blocks from the church and 3 blocks from the venue. In fact, its just around the corner from the other hotel option, so you can holler over at the bargain shoppers from your window, or play nice and split cabs. There is a free wine happy hour every night and the hotel is also pet friendly. The bar is also quite nice ;)
Rate are about $250 right now, but keep an eye out for deals. Did we mention that we love this hotel?
